In our first big project of 2022, we put in the hard yards, testing horizontal drilling technology and the skills of the Rolkon team.
This project for Bloc Contractors entailed the installation of a 400mm sewer sleeve for the new sewer line being built in Sizela. A simple enough drill under the main road was made complicated by the surrounding playground and residential area, the very wet wetland, as well as the soft ground conditions, and clay soil which made progress very slow.
But as is the Rolkon way, the drill was completed successfully and once again, trenchless construction came out on top! Click here for more images of this and our other jobs.
